The Summer I Turned Pretty in Paris has inspired me—here are 14 beauty and home products featured on my fall mood board.
(Image credit: Everett Collection) Nothing is quite as disappointing as your favorite show nearing its final episode. Even though I'm in my 30s, I must confess that The Summer I Turned Pretty ranks high on my list of "shows I'm really going to miss." While it's definitely my *summer* show, I've increasingly found its fall and winter ambiance captivating as Belly's romantic journey with the Fisher brothers comes to an end.
The recent episodes reveal that Belly still has plenty to handle after her spontaneous decision to move to Paris (major points for spontaneity). Her time there is unveiling a new world for her. She has finally found a space where she can explore her identity without her family and the Fishers around. I wholeheartedly support her self-discovery journey, and I must admit to feeling a bit envious—she's living my dream Parisian life.
The show beautifully embraces the cozy sweater weather and mulled wine vibe as Belly experiences the chillier months in France, and naturally, I've spotted numerous little details to inspire my fall mood board. I couldn't help but compile a list of my fantasy Paris apartment items inspired by Belly’s new chapter. If you share my obsession with "Paris in fall," keep reading. I’m sharing all the beauty and home items that resonate with the aesthetic.

Maison Louis Marie
No.14 Icila Candle
Belly's Paris apartment may have its share of roommates, but it still exudes Parisian charm. As soon as I saw her space, I envisioned myself lighting this warm floral candle featuring notes of jasmine, dark plum, and vanilla flower.
A lacy robe seems essential to complete the French apartment look. This one is just $20 on Amazon. To be honest, I might get it for my L.A. apartment and pretend it's Paris.
Buxom
The Summer I Turned Pretty Infinite Rush Lip Gloss Kit
Before heading to Paris, Belly rarely sported a bold lip color, but during the holidays, I noticed her in beautiful shades of red and deep pink that made it onto my inspiration board. I don’t usually wear bold colors, but these Buxom glosses are perfectly subtle with a hint of shimmer.
Nuxe
Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
This beloved French beauty oil has long been on my wishlist. It works on your face, body, and hair—truly versatile. With a blend of seven botanical oils, it's designed to minimize stretch marks and strengthen your skin’s barrier.
VIOLETTE_FR
Bisou Blush in Maryam
Violette_FR is one of my favorite French makeup brands. This blush is amazing—it's so pigmented yet blends seamlessly into the skin. Next on my wishlist from the brand is Plume Lip—a matte lipstick with a magical gel-cream texture.
L'Occitane
Cleansing and Softening Shower Oil
I turn to L'Occitane products whenever I want to add a bit of luxury to my routine. While the hand cream is a classic favorite, this shower oil is perfect for fall and winter. Rich in silky-sweet almond oil and grape-seed oil, it nourishes and softens the skin while cleansing. It’s fantastic for those lazy days (ahem, me) when I can’t be bothered with a separate body cleanser and moisturizer.
Phantoscope
Faux Fur Solid Decorative Pillow Cover
Faux-fur throw pillows are adorable. The entire time Belly was lounging on the couch in her Paris apartment, I thought it could use a few of these. These are just the covers, but you can easily find some affordable throw pillows to fill them.
Diptyque
Eau Des Sens Eau de Toilette
My Paris apartment vibe wouldn’t be complete without at least one Diptyque product. I own several of their beautifully crafted perfumes but haven’t yet tried this floral one. Its notes of orange blossom, angelica root, patchouli, and juniper berry create an indulgent fruity-floral scent I’d want to spray throughout my home.
Embryolisse
Lait-Crème Sensitive Multi-Function Moisturizer
Embryolisse cream is a cherished French moisturizer that makeup artists adore. My skin is sensitive and reactive, but thankfully, Embryolisse makes a formula just for my skin type! If I lived in France, I’d be stockpiling this cream weekly.
Avène
Thermal Spring Water
Having a thermal spring water face mist available might seem excessive, but in colder weather, I can’t be without it. Avène produces one of my absolute favorites.
De'Longhi
Dedica Duo Compact Espresso Machine
The number of De'Longhi espresso machines featured in The Summer I Turned Pretty is astounding. Jeremiah's dorm room and his dad Adam’s loft both showcased the brand’s Dinamica Plus Machine ($1700). While that one is sure to impress, I, like Belly
