That's why I felt it was high time someone hit the stores to try on an array of cashmere sweaters and cardigans, aiming to identify the absolute best of the bunch.

**My Review:** I’ll admit, I’m bending the rules a bit with my first choice as I already own the COS Chunky Cashmere Jumper in black—I purchased it last year after hearing our shopping editor Florrie's glowing review and seeing it on stylish individuals everywhere, from London to New York. If you’re even remotely contemplating investing in it, let me assure you now: you won’t regret it. This year, COS has reintroduced the jumper (not that anyone was surprised) and it’s just as fabulous, if not better. In addition to staple colors like black, navy, and grey, the brand has introduced fresh shades such as a delicate pale pink and a timeless camel. I tried on nearly every color in-store, and they are all stunning—versatile, chic, and of excellent quality.
Now, let’s discuss the details. For a high-street item, this jumper is priced on the higher end, but the quality truly backs it up. It’s crafted from 100% cashmere—no blends, no synthetics—and the knit is thick, warm, and incredibly soft without being heavy or bulky. It features a classic boxy shape that provides structure without overwhelming your frame, and the ribbed neckline, cuffs, and hem offer a nice finishing touch.
In terms of sizing, I typically wear a UK 12–14 and I’m shown wearing a size small in the photo above.
