However, I haven’t really worn one lately. Maxi skirts are fantastic versatile pieces, but I've been uncertain about how to style them, as they can sometimes feel a bit too formal for someone always on the go. Fortunately, Dua Lipa was recently spotted in a maxi skirt outfit in New York City, paired with a shoe trend that made it look so much cooler, particularly for the fall season.

      As she stepped out in NYC ahead of her performances at Madison Square Garden, Dua Lipa donned a classic white striped button-down shirt, a gray maxi skirt, and black mesh heels. I was honestly amazed at how much cooler the shoes made her maxi skirt appear. The outfit itself was already incredibly chic, but the addition of black mesh heels instead of plain ones was a clever styling trick that added texture and depth to an ensemble composed of seemingly “professional” pieces. I feel inspired to revive my own maxi skirt, knowing I can style it in a similar manner.
