However, I've noticed a trend among fashion-forward individuals as fall approaches: plaid button-downs are becoming more popular. Throughout much of 2025, we've discussed the resurgence of plaid, and it has officially returned. I'm mentioning this because Emily Ratajkowski, always attuned to the latest trends, recently stepped out in London donning an oversized plaid shirt as part of a chic, laid-back outfit. She paired the oversized brown plaid shirt with a leather jacket, black flared leggings, and Ugg mules. Certainly, the outfit could have looked stylish with a white button-down, but the plaid version embodies the essence of fall 2025.
