Every dress and skirt will be enhanced by this trend in fall accessories that fights against boredom.
I'm not typically someone who wears dresses or skirts, but this year, I've found myself wearing them more than usual. I appreciate simple outfits, but recently, I've been exploring ways to make skirts and dresses more exciting. That changed when I saw Lily-Rose Depp's look at the Chanel S/S 26 runway show, featuring a skirt set paired with a surprising accessory trend for fall: patterned tights. Her ensemble struck a perfect balance between whimsical and stylish. She paired her navy Chanel suit with diamond-print black-and-white tights, black pumps, and a small light blue shoulder bag. The tights became the highlight of her outfit, showcasing a creative way to make them the center of attention. We witnessed this styling technique multiple times on the F/W 25 runways of Valentino, ACNE Studios, Isabel Marant, and others, where models wore patterned tights that brought an eclectic touch to the high-fashion looks. Inspired by this, I’m definitely planning to wear patterned tights with my dresses and skirts this fall and winter. I’m done with being dull, and you’re never too old for a playful outfit.
