I Finally Tried Out the Viral Skims Tanks, and I Have Some Opinions.

      Since the launch of Skims, it seems like everything the brand does makes its way to my For You page. Over the past few months, the algorithm has gently (and sometimes not so gently) encouraged me to believe that the Skims tank top is the ultimate basic and that I should give it a try. After trying Skims bodysuits, undergarments, and even pajamas, I realized I hadn’t had a chance to test the tank tops yet. To be honest, the price tag is a bit daunting. When Hanes offers a great tank top for just $5, I tend to avoid the pricier options, but now it’s time—I’m going to try them all. I mean, it’s about time. I needed to discover what all the fuss was about. After finally locking myself in a fitting room with every style available at the Nordstrom lingerie section, I have some opinions—primarily that I now see why everyone compares the built-in-bra style to a push-up bra hidden under loungewear.
