Who What Wear UK Next in Beauty Awards 2025: Leading Skincare
With a myriad of facials available, it was Sarah Chapman's Barrier Restore Facial that captivated our judges the most. Designed to heal and calm the skin barrier, this indulgent facial begins with a skin analysis and incorporates both cryotherapy and near-infrared light in the treatment. "I'm an enormous fan of Sarah Chapman facials, and my skin always looks fantastic after leaving the clinic," says junior beauty editor Grace Lindsay. "The clinic environment is luxurious and soothing, and my facialist was incredibly friendly, guiding me through every step and detailing how it would benefit my skin," she remarks. "My skin barrier isn't particularly robust, but I truly noticed a change in how my skin appeared and felt afterward. I would recommend this facial to everyone I know."

In a bustling market of supplements, Aegle's Clear Skin Complex stood out significantly. Our judges praised its effectiveness in addressing skin issues like acne from within. "This is highly effective for textured and acne-prone skin," states Eleanor Hartley, founder and director at Hart Medical. "It regulated hormonal breakouts, and there was a marked improvement in skin clarity. I was very impressed by the ingredient list and the research backing it," she continues. "The packaging is both luxurious and sustainable. I plan to incorporate this into my clinic for patients dealing with hormone-related acne."

Dr Sam's products are favorites among the Who What Wear UK editorial team, and the Flawless Moisturiser Intense has established itself as a key part of our judges' skincare habits, thanks to its capacity to soothe and repair the skin barrier with its NAD+ formula. "This moisturiser is outstanding," remarks Dr Ahmed El Muntasar, GP and aesthetics practitioner. "It's wonderfully rich and thick, leaving your skin feeling hydrated, brighter, and truly nourished. It's effective on its own and works exceptionally well with retinoids," he adds. "The texture is thick and promptly moisturizes," shares graphic designer Emily Post. "With no fragrance, it’s an uncomplicated staple. I’m adding this to my collection as a go-to for dry skin anywhere."

Good skincare doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag, and E45's Cica Soothe and Repair Cream exemplifies this. It impressed our judges sufficiently to earn a place as a "first-aid" moisturizer in their routines. "Restorative and hydrating, this cream is ideal for skin suffering from extreme dryness and sensitivity," says aesthetician and beauty editor Grace Day. "Its rich texture immediately comforts and nourishes the skin. I found it to be an excellent 'SOS' remedy for my skin after overusing active ingredients—it would also work well for eczema-prone skin," she shares. "You can't go wrong with this product," adds insights analyst Sophie Cookson. "It deeply moisturizes and is great for dry areas beyond just the face, making it versatile and well-priced."
