A New Rhode Phone Case is Taking Over Our Feeds—Here’s What You Should Know

      It appears that anything Hailey Bieber touches turns into success, especially with her beauty brand, Rhode. From the well-known Peptide Lip Treatments to the popular Glazing Milk, there's no doubt she has made a significant mark on the beauty industry since establishing the brand in 2022. However, nothing has influenced the scene quite like Bieber's phone case. Named the "Lip Case," this Rhode phone accessory allowed customers to carry their favorite Rhode lip balm everywhere. While the ingenuity of this product is undeniable, few could have predicted the level of its popularity. The Lip Case quickly became a must-have accessory for It-girls, showcasing itself on Instagram feeds worldwide.

      Now, in celebration of Bieber's birthday month, Rhode has unveiled the Birthday Edit 2025, a new collection of beauty staples that includes a revamped phone case that is arguably more stylish than ever. I was fortunate enough to preview the entire edit just before its launch, so continue reading for my candid review.

      Rhode Birthday Edit 2025 Review

      What’s Included in Rhode’s Birthday Edit 2025?

      To begin with, let's look at what this special launch has to offer. Packaged in a fashionable oversized bubble bag, the Birthday Edit includes four limited-edition scents of the original Peptide Lip Tints (Ribbon, Toast, Raspberry Jelly, and Espresso), in addition to new Snap-On Lip Cases.

      I'm a huge fan of the Peptide Lip Tints, so I was thrilled to hear about the limited-edition scents. However, the new Snap-On Lip Case is what truly caught my attention. I regularly use the original Rhode phone case, but I find it a bit bulky, so I was glad to see this new version designed to be compact and lightweight. The case has been updated with MagSafe technology, compatible with all MagSafe-ready iPhone models and cases. You just snap it onto the back of your device and go.

      My Review

      Let's start with the phone case. As mentioned, I found the original case somewhat too bulky for my taste, but this new version is excellent. Available in black, white, and the brand’s signature grey, it attaches easily to your device thanks to its magnetic feature. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a phone case in the traditional sense (I’d probably attach it to my current case for extra protection), but more of a phone accessory to ensure you always have your lip balm handy. The design is far more practical, and I can already envision all the It-girls flaunting it this winter.

      Now, on to the lip tints. I adore scented lip products, so I was eager to try these out. My personal favorite is Ribbon, which has a sweet vanilla fragrance that feels like a gentle swirl of ice cream on the lips. As a fan of gourmand scents, I also really liked Toast, which is crafted to smell like a "toasty crème brûlée."

      Espresso is like a coffee-infused treat on the lips, slightly sweeter than a standard espresso shot, with the brand comparing it to a spoonful of tiramisu. Finally, for those who enjoy fruity scents, Raspberry Jelly will be ideal for you. I’m truly impressed by the variety of scents, confirming each one is delightful. I even swatched one on the back of my hand the morning I received them, and I could still catch a whiff hours later. If you’ve been thinking about trying one of the brand’s well-known lip products, I highly recommend checking out these new versions.
