As someone whose collection of leggings is made up of 95% black ones, I’m not particularly fond of legging colors that stray too far from black. However, if I decide to experiment with colors on the lighter end of the spectrum, I would opt to wear them with black sneakers—similar to what Ana de Armas did recently. Last week, while going to a gym in L.A., de Armas chose pale gray leggings. Generally, I find light-colored leggings that are primarily made of spandex challenging, which is why I tend to steer clear of them. With winter approaching, if I were to wear leggings in a nearly white shade, I would style them with black sneakers just like de Armas did, to make the look more suitable for the season and provide some grounding.
