      I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a bit worn out by the constant influx of little black dresses and sheer gowns that fill my feed each party season. This year, I’m determined to find something new. Just in time, at this week’s CFDA Awards, the industry’s most stylish opted to set aside their sheer slips and black minis in favor of the timelessly elegant trend of cream satin dresses. For instance, Olivia Dean arrived in a warm cream strapless satin gown that almost resembled butter yellow. Accompanied by a Thom Browne tartan bag and pointed pumps, her ensemble was simple, sophisticated, and incredibly chic.

      Ashley Graham embraced the trend with a more minimalist approach, selecting a boat-neck maxi adorned with soft draping that gracefully skimmed her ankles. Departing from the form-fitting styles we often associate with party attire, her relaxed silhouette felt, in my view, much more stylish.
