This stylish ensemble is ideal for Paris, but I'll be sporting it in the Midwest and New York City.

      This afternoon, while browsing through Instagram, I came across an outfit posted by one of my favorite content creators, Felicia Akerstrom. The initial image was incredibly stylish (featuring an outfit she wore in Paris), and as I continued to look through the gallery, the entire ensemble really resonated with me. I felt compelled to share it with you.

      Although the concept is simple, with an emphasis on elevated basics (meaning pieces I wear often), the outfit manages to be both easy and striking in a modern and effortless manner. Akerstrom chose a long trench coat, a grey sweater draped over her shoulders (ideal for putting on if the temperature drops), straight-leg blue jeans, loafers, and reliable accessories.

      While I won't be traveling to Paris anytime soon (how I wish I could), I do have plans to visit New York City in a few weeks, and being in the Midwest, you can bet I'll be sporting my own version of this look while I'm out. The refined and minimalist style is perfect for any occasion when you want to appear polished without too much hassle.
