      Living on the East Coast, I’ve always had a surprisingly hesitant attitude toward winter. Having grown up in Boston, you would assume I’d be accustomed to the cold from an early age, but it's actually been the opposite. It’s the season I dread the most, and keeping warm is something I have to put considerable thought into. For years, when I asked friends about their strategies for staying warm in the winter, their answers consistently included some version of “Uniqlo Heattech.” Tired of perpetually lamenting the cold when it’s unavoidable, I’m finally taking their suggestions—stocking up on items from both the Uniqlo Heattech and Pufftech collections.

      Last winter, my resolve to start dressing warmly in cold weather began with purchasing insulated boots and a wool coat. However, that coat never felt sufficiently warm on its own.
