Earlier this year, I named Kris Jenner the best-dressed wedding guest of the summer. Now, due to her latest outfit, I have to recognize her as the ultimate power player in pantsuits this fall. Captured at a business lunch in Beverly Hills, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch sported an oversized gray blazer, coordinating wide-leg pants, and a black turtleneck sweater. (Indeed, Los Angeles is finally experiencing weather below 70 degrees!) I was particularly drawn to Jenner's handbag. Not because it's a Birkin bag, but because it's my favorite fall accessory color: burgundy. To me, it strikes the right balance, being more vibrant than navy and black but more classic than trendy shades like butter yellow and matcha green. While I would never discourage a visit to the Hermès store, there's definitely no need to spend six figures on a burgundy handbag for fall.
