      How do you create a festive atmosphere in your home? Honestly, it’s the people who create the vibe! We don’t focus too much on indoor decorations—currently, our friend Haik has beautifully decorated the backyard with some imperfect pumpkins. The true mood sets in when everyone gathers in the family room, sitting on the couch and floor, fully engrossed in football. My son probably asks Alexa for player stats about 25 times during a game, and my kids frequently request Alexa to play “I like to move it move it.”

      Do you have any holiday traditions? We make it a point to have John's family come to us, no matter where we are. And, oh my, the football. Additionally, I keep my menu the same each year, which I suppose is a tradition? The only thing that varies is how we prepare the turkey. After twenty years, I'm still on the quest for the best method. We just got a fantastic smoker (from Amazon!) that has been producing some incredible meats recently, so fingers crossed!

      What’s your gift-giving strategy this year? This year, I’m aiming to strike a balance between gifts from well-known brands that everyone loves, like the ones below from Coach, Laneige, Ninja, and Shark, along with plenty of items from Amazon Essentials. That’s one of the things I appreciate about Amazon’s Holiday Shop; all the products and brands are conveniently in one location.

      What gifts are you most looking forward to giving this year? I actually think stockings are my favorite aspect. We always ensure that anyone with us has a personalized stocking, resulting in mantels that are often so stuffed I worry they might collapse in the morning. Apart from stockings, I enjoy giving people things they will use regularly but may not buy for themselves, such as a beautiful chef’s knife (ahem, Cravings!), cutting boards, light masks, and luxurious face and body creams. I'm also fond of the Shark Hair Dryer—my daughter Luna enjoys styling her hair in the morning, and the diffuser attachment is perfect for her lovely curls.

      Is there anything special you’re hoping to find under the tree for yourself? Honestly, I rarely think about my own gifts since I truly don’t need anything. However, I will say that I really could use an extra-large mixing bowl—not a set of nesting bowls, but a ridiculously big metal one. With so many people to feed, I find myself having to break down recipes into bothersome steps because I usually triple everything, and no bowl I own can accommodate that! So here’s hoping this gets to John… er, Santa… in some way.

      Are you a last-minute shopper? I do shop right up until the last minute, but I love it year-round. There are days when fast, free Prime shipping has absolutely saved me—like when I needed random Girl Scout patches for a next-day troop meeting or food warmers for a school event I volunteered to bring.
