      How do you create a holiday atmosphere in your home? Honestly, it’s the people that create it! We don’t do a lot of indoor decorations—currently, our friend Haik has adorned the backyard with wonderfully imperfect pumpkins. The true mood comes when everyone gathers in the family room, lounging on the couch and floor, completely engrossed in football. I’d estimate my son asks Alexa for player stats about 25 times a game, and my kids frequently ask Alexa to play "I Like to Move It, Move It."

      Do you have any holiday traditions? We always ensure that John’s family visits us, regardless of where we are. And then there’s football—my goodness, the football! Oh! I also stick to the same menu every year; I suppose that’s a tradition? The only variation is how we prepare the turkey. After twenty years, I’m still searching for the best method. However, we just acquired an amazing smoker (from Amazon!), and it has been producing some fantastic meats lately, so fingers crossed!

      Do you have a gifting approach this year? This year, I’m focusing on balancing gifts from well-known and loved brands, such as Coach, Laneige, Ninja, and Shark, alongside many presents from Amazon Essentials. That’s one thing I appreciate about Amazon’s Holiday Shop; everything is conveniently located in one place.

      What gifts are you most excited to give this year? I think stockings are my favorite part. We make sure that everyone present receives their personalized stocking, making the mantels so filled that I worry they might topple over in the morning. Besides stockings, I love giving people items they’ll use regularly but typically don’t buy for themselves, like a beautiful chef’s knife (ahem, Cravings!), cutting boards, light masks, and luxurious face and body creams. The Shark Hair Dryer is another of my favorites. My daughter Luna enjoys styling her hair in the morning, and her lovely curls benefit from the diffuser attachment.

      Is there anything special you hope to find under the tree for yourself? Honestly, I rarely think about my own gifts as I genuinely don’t need anything. However, I will admit that I desperately need a giant mixing bowl. Not a set of nesting bowls, but a ridiculously large metal mixing bowl. With so many people to feed, I often have to break recipes into annoying steps because I usually triple each recipe, and no bowl I possess allows me to prepare everything at once! So I’m hoping John…err, Santa…will somehow make this happen.

      Are you a last-minute shopper? I tend to shop until the last moment, but I enjoy it throughout the year. There have been days when fast, free Prime shipping has absolutely SAVED me—whether it’s buying random Girl Scout patches for a next-day meeting or food warmers I volunteered to bring for school.
