Seen in Italy: The 2026 Style for Donning a Coat
To be completely frank, I tend to become a bit disinterested when the topic of layering comes up, which is why I don’t frequently write about it. It’s a concept we’re all familiar with—layering is essential during this season. However, every now and then, I encounter a truly brilliant example of innovative layering that piques my interest. Recently, I was pleasantly surprised by the layering exhibit from Zoë Kravitz.
Kravitz and Harry Styles were recently spotted in Rome (where they were first seen in August), and Kravitz’s relaxed winter ensemble featured khaki trousers, loafers, a knitted scarf styled around her head, and a memorable styling technique: a base coat beneath a topcoat, both crafted from wool in matching complementary tones. She styled an oversized gray peacoat atop a more fitted collarless coat in a darker shade of gray, buttoned all the way to the neck. It was both unexpected and stylish, as is often the case with Kravitz’s outfits, providing a chic way to keep warm this season.
