      There aren't many types of shoes I wouldn't pair with jeans. As someone who often opts for denim, I need my footwear to complement my favorite pieces effectively. However, for quite some time, rounded-toe heeled boots were among the few styles I would not consider. I could never quite pinpoint the reason, but when teamed with denim, the softer shape always seemed a bit… out-of-date. It appeared less striking and impactful compared to some of my other options. Therefore, I steered clear of that combination—until recently, when, almost suddenly, some of the most stylish individuals I follow started pairing their jeans with the very shoe trend I had dismissed. I had to reassess my stance.

      Just this past weekend, Lila Moss completed her fruit-trimmed jacket and jeans look with a sleek pair of black rounded-toe heeled boots peeking out beneath her hem. The boots added height and elegance, introducing drama to her denim without crossing into overly formal territory or conflicting with the casual foundation. Alexa Chung mirrored this idea by styling her black cardigan and dungarees with yet another pair of rounded-toe boots. Whereas a pointed or square toe might have seemed too harsh against the relaxed denim silhouette, Alexa’s choice appeared perfectly harmonious, providing softness and unity to the overall outfit.
