As we near the end of another wonderfully fabulous year for fashion at Who What Wear UK, we’ve been reflecting on and discussing the biggest moments from the past 12 months. From the highs and lows to the Labubu craze, this year featured viral bootleg jeans, notable tour wardrobes, yet another Met Gala to analyze, and previews of the new Devil Wears Prada film. Undoubtedly, this year stands out as one of the most thrilling in fashion over the past couple of decades. With 16 new creative director debuts during September fashion month for spring/summer 2026, the shifts within the industry brought unprecedented excitement across the 'big four' fashion capitals and beyond. Notable mentions included Matthieu Blazy's work for Chanel, Jonathan Anderson's designs for Dior, and Louise Trotter's Bottega Veneta collection. The music scene also saw significant style moments: both Lily Allen and Sabrina Carpenter flaunted stunning looks throughout their press and concert tours for their respective albums, West End Girl and Short n' Sweet, as well as Man's Best Friend.
