As a Fashion Editor passionate about supporting small businesses, here are the emerging brands to keep an eye on in 2026.
With 2026 approaching, this aptly named betwixt-mas period (could someone remind me what day of the week it is?) presents an ideal opportunity to explore the emerging fashion brands to watch in 2026. Throughout this year, I’ve focused on up-and-coming fashion labels, taking note of intriguing designs and interviewing founders about their creative journeys and the future of fashion. During fashion months, I've observed an increasing number of new designers and lesser-known brands with aspirational designs and talents that deserve recognition. Recently, we've witnessed a surge in interest for independent brands as many of us are seeking labels that resonate with our unique styles. I find this intersection of fashion captivating, as there’s a certain magic in nascent brands refining their aesthetic, mastering their craft, and showcasing creative distinctions. Emerging brands often display a strong brand identity, prioritize quality craftsmanship, adhere to ethical production practices, and address design challenges (more on that later), which makes them particularly appealing. So, without further ado, here are 16 up-and-coming fashion brands to keep an eye on in 2026. Narrowing it down was no easy task, but these brands are truly the crème de la crème and are definitely ones to watch.
