I experimented with Korea's innovative "Pudding Blush" trend, and I’ve never appeared so flawless.
It’s impossible to ignore the resurgence of K-beauty at the moment. While Korean skincare often receives most of the attention, makeup is slowly becoming a strong contender in the “most popular” category. Numerous K-beauty brands are celebrated for their innovative approaches, creating viral trends on social media—most recently, the "pudding blush." When I first encountered this trend in my TikTok feed, I was captivated. Although I typically apply blush using an angled stippling brush, the Korean brand Fwee has introduced a novel concept. They developed a soft, cushiony, pudding-like formula designed to give a flawless airbrushed effect on the skin. To be honest, I usually avoid diving into blush fads as I prefer to keep my routine straightforward. However, this specific formula and trend have captured my complete attention. Additionally, it includes a unique tool that I think is the key to achieving a polished look. If you've spotted this trend on your feed and are curious about how it performs in real life, continue reading. I tested this viral blush and will share my thoughts below.

Fwee
Lip & Cheek Blurry Pudding Pot
Let’s discuss this formula first. I’m generally a fan of cream blushes. I’ve tried many excellent formulas that provide a stunning and naturally sun-kissed effect, but this one stands out. It has an almost cream-to-powder finish that feels a bit odd at first, but when applied to the skin, it’s pure magic. The blush is accompanied by a distinct round silicone brush that helps you stipple it into your skin for an airbrushed appearance. I was initially a bit apprehensive upon learning that this formula is highly pigmented. I appreciate vibrant makeup, but with blush, too much can quickly lead to an undesirable result. If you apply too much at first, it can become overwhelming and hard to fix. However, I can confidently say that this pigmented blush is exceptionally well-crafted. Yes, it goes on brightly, yet miraculously it blends seamlessly into the skin without appearing harsh or exaggerated. How does it do that?! As I mentioned, the texture of the formula is quite unique. While it feels pudding-like, it contains a slight chalkiness that I believe enhances its application on the skin. It’s also very buildable, allowing for subtle application or a more intense look depending on your preference. The brush is a total game changer. It’s small, round, and flat on the top to help you achieve that flawless finish. While using your fingers is effective, the brush’s shape facilitates the product melting into the skin, resulting in a smooth, doll-like look that I’m completely enamored with.
I also appreciate that the shades cater well to Black and Brown skin tones. Even in 2025, finding a decent eyeshadow palette, blush, or bronzer that complements my skin tone can sometimes be a struggle. These shades are vibrant without being overpowering. The price of $20 is reasonable for a blush, so I plan to purchase a few more colors since my experience with the shade Memories (as seen above) was so positive. Below are a few more of my all-time favorite blush formulas.
