The Outfit Formula I Depend On to Keep Warm and Appear Stylish Throughout Winter

      Winter is the time when I find it most challenging to get dressed and feel motivated to leave the house. Anyone familiar with me knows how much I dislike the cold and the necessity of bundling up. To simplify getting ready for the outdoors, I rely on simple outfit formulas that I can wear repeatedly until the weather warms up and my desire to dress improves. Over the past few years, I’ve tried to resist winter less and accept it more, which has made it feel more manageable. This acceptance has largely involved learning how to properly dress for colder temperatures. The outfit I wear most often is a wool coat combined with a cashmere sweater.

      A few years ago, this began with the Filippa Hägg Oversized Coat and a J.Crew cashmere sweater that I borrowed from my boyfriend, who never wore it. Since then, I've gradually expanded my collection, adding various colors and styles—black, red, gray, and navy, as well as turtlenecks, boatnecks, crewnecks, and V-necks.
