      What do you always carry in your handbag?

      Unfortunately, it’s not particularly exciting; I strive to avoid being a pack mule (and when I don’t need a handbag, I prefer not to carry one at all). Hand sanitizer is a staple, along with essentials like lip balm, AirPods, my wallet, a notebook, and keys, plus a foldable bag for good measure. Depending on the weather, I might have a beanie or a cap, and I keep a makeup bag with the basics: antihistamines, paracetamol, and Cicaplast. It's practical, not glamorous.

      What’s your favorite place to walk or explore in London?

      I’ve just moved to Richmond, so I really enjoy strolling along the river (I admit, it’s a bit cliché, but it’s beautiful) and heading down to Petersham Nurseries. Richmond Park is also lovely, though it gets quite crowded on weekends. Holland Park is another favorite of mine.

      It’s a sunny Sunday with no plans. How do you spend your day?

      My perfect Sunday begins with coffee in bed and reading the papers with my boyfriend James and our bulldog Boicey. After that, I typically go for a long walk, often followed by a meal. The rest of the day is delightfully relaxed—just lounging on the sofa or in the garden, because Sundays, regardless of the weather, are all about rest and recharging.

      Do you have a hidden date-night gem you’d recommend?

      The Hart in Marylebone.

      Which neighborhood do you call home?

      North West London. I miss it dearly.

      What city inspires you the most?

      Cape Town. I was born in Johannesburg, and my parents still live in South Africa. I visit frequently, and as soon as I arrive, the sunshine and the fragrance of the air are invigorating. It’s truly unique. The city is vibrant, the scenery feels cinematic, and the atmosphere is magnetic.

      What’s your favorite gallery?

      Hauser & Wirth. I recently visited their Menorca location, which is quite remarkable, as is their restaurant, Cantina. I appreciate that their galleries serve as destinations in themselves, whether in Somerset or New York. Their philosophy resonates with me, and they showcase some incredibly talented artists.

      Is there anything at home that holds special significance for you?

      I have photographs scattered throughout the house from my childhood in South Africa, summer trips to Venice (as both my maternal grandparents were born there), and family vacations over the years. I’m fortunate to have an amazing circle of creative friends, and for my 40th birthday, a few gifted me stunning pieces they had made, which are particularly meaningful to me.

      What’s the most treasured item in your wardrobe?

      A bracelet I received for my 40th birthday from my boyfriend. I intend to wear it forever.

      If you could choose three fashion brands to wear for the rest of your life, which would they be and why?

      Róhe, Bode, and Miu Miu. Róhe epitomizes effortless cool with excellent staples. Bode… I can’t fully articulate my love for this brand. And Miu Miu offers fantastic outerwear and knitwear that feels playful yet wearable.

      Do you have a piece of jewelry that carries significant meaning?

      I crafted a bracelet featuring diamonds I collected over the years, each in different shapes—round, heart, emerald, and marquise—set in 18k white gold. It holds immense sentimental value, along with my engagement ring.

      If we peeked into your Saved folder on Instagram right now, what would we find?

      Travel, interiors, art, makeup tutorials (even though I wear minimal makeup daily), and vintage jewelry collectors. Nothing groundbreaking, just nice things.

      If you could only vacation in one place for the rest of your life, where would that be?

      South Africa. It's enchanting.
