Kiri brand at Moscow Fashion Week: clothing for outings and antics

As part of Moscow Fashion Week, the Kiri brand presented its first show under the direction of founder Katya Kiri. The debut resonated not just as a collection presentation but as a statement: clothing is not only about "going out" but also about "allowing oneself more." It’s about the idea that pink is the new black, and modern femininity no longer strives to be unambiguous—it combines playfulness, sensuality, and inner freedom.

The collection revolves around the brand's key motto—"clothes for outings and escapades." It tells a story about the freedom to be different: restrained and bold, rational and impulsive. About evenings that start as "just dinner" but easily go beyond the script. And about decisions that are not planned—these ultimately define the mood of the moment.

In the visual language, there is a relevant turn towards new romanticism, but without naivety. Rather, it is romance with character: with irony, a touch of theatricality, and a willingness to be "too much."

Jackets with a signature, almost architectural cut, bright feminine dresses, layered looks with an effect of deliberate carelessness—the collection strikes a balance between structure and lightness, control and impulse. The looks are complemented by expressive accessories: miniature umbrellas, headwear—from hats to feathered bonnets, baskets, mittens, as well as ironic elements like watering cans and garden hoses. This technique adds that very edge between fashion and statement, where theatricality becomes part of the style.

The color palette is built on contrasts: a restrained base collides with bright accents, enhancing the drama of the looks. Textures support this dynamic—from dense, shape-holding fabrics to almost weightless ones that create a sense of movement and transformation.

The team paid special attention to the atmosphere of the show: a dynamic soundtrack, carefully crafted scenography, and the rhythm of the catwalk create a sense of continuous movement—from control to impulse, from form to emotion. Media heroines appeared on the runway: Elena Kukoyaka, Assol, Polina Zenovyeva, Vera Volt, Anita Kobeleva, Elena Kamilova, Anastasia Alentyeva, and others.

The Kiri show became not just a part of the fashion program but a precise statement about a new femininity—vibrant, contradictory, and free from expectations. A femininity that is no longer afraid to be noticeable, excessive, and a little unpredictable.
