Alright, Victoria Beckham's new bronze shades provide me with the most radiant sun-kissed glow imaginable.
As a beauty editor, I sample countless makeup brands as part of my role, but few excite me as much as Victoria Beckham Beauty. The formulas? Luxurious, of course. The packaging? Absolutely stunning. I always have one of the beloved Satin Kajal Eyeliners in my makeup bag. So, when I learned that VB was introducing bronzer versions of the Colour Wash Blusher Tints, I eagerly anticipated trying them, and to be honest? They're even better than I expected. Keep reading for everything you need to know about the new Colour Wash Bronze Water Tints (£44).

The Formula
(Image credit: @eleanorvousden for Who What Wear UK)These bronzers, similar in formula and rollerball pipette applicator to the Colour Wash Blush Tints (£44), provide a sheer bronze wash to the skin before transforming into a long-lasting stain. The formula features activated sea water, fruit extracts rich in antioxidants, and hydrating coconut water, ensuring a luminous glow even after the stain sets. While I love the powder bronzer from VBB, these dewy bronze tints are a delightful addition to my makeup kit for those times I desire something lighter.
The Shades
(Image credit: @eleanorvousden for Who What Wear UK)Currently, there are only two shades available: Tanline and Heatwave. Tanline is a sheer, golden bronze, while Heatwave offers a deeper, cooler-toned shade. I've been using Tanline to warm up my winter complexion as we approach spring, but I will definitely reach for Heatwave during the summer when I’m looking for a bronzed look. Both shades appear dark in the bottle, but they go on so sheer that they only leave a subtle hint of color once blended onto the skin.
The Application
These bronzing tints feature a pipette applicator with a rollerball tip, allowing you to apply a controlled amount directly to your skin or on your hand if you prefer (just be ready for a lasting stain there too!). I usually avoid bronzing stains due to concerns about application mistakes, but these offer ample blending time before setting, and their watery texture results in a very sheer tint. I enjoy using them to achieve a sun-kissed wash of color or for layering for more intensity.
My method involves applying a couple of drops to one cheek at a time, using a fluffy makeup brush to blend, and then applying any excess to my forehead, nose, and chin. The watery formula glides smoothly over both foundation and bare skin, and its lightweight nature makes it look incredibly natural, drying down to a watercolour stain with a dewy finish. It creates that well-rested glow reminiscent of a two-week vacation in the sun. I’m amazed by how natural these tints look, imparting a believable sun-kissed hue wherever applied.
My Verdict
(Image credit: @eleanorvousden for Who What Wear UK)I must declare: this may be one of my favorite new beauty releases this year. I love how fresh and dewy these bronzing tints make my skin appear, and despite the pipette applicator seeming a bit intimidating, the formula is so sheer and easy to blend that it’s hard to go wrong. Once applied, they last well throughout the day, and their lightweight consistency prevents any heaviness or cakiness often caused by other bronzers. Instead, you're left with a realistic veil of sunlit color. The bronzer shade range is limited to just these two hues, so I hope to see additional options soon. However, I genuinely can't find any faults. Well done, VB.
