      As a beauty editor, I test countless makeup brands as part of my role, but few excite me as much as Victoria Beckham Beauty. The formulas are undeniably luxurious. The packaging is absolutely stunning. I never leave home without one of the iconic Satin Kajal Eyeliners in my makeup bag. So when I learned that VB was launching bronzer versions of the Colour Wash Blusher Tints, I was eager to try them out, and honestly? They exceeded my expectations.       The Formula

      Similar to the Colour Wash Blush Tints (£44), these watercolour-like bronzers feature the same formula and rollerball pipette applicator. They provide a sheer layer of bronze that dries down to a long-lasting stain. The formula includes activated sea water, antioxidant-rich fruit extracts, and hydrating coconut water, ensuring a luminous glow, even after the stain has set. While I love the powder bronzer from VBB, these dewy bronze tints are a refreshing alternative when I desire something lighter.

      The Shades

      Currently, there are two shades available: Tanline and Heatwave. Tanline is a sheer, golden bronze, while Heatwave offers a deeper, cooler-toned hue. I've been using Tanline to warm up my complexion as we transition into spring, but I’ll definitely reach for Heatwave in the summer for a more bronzed look. Both shades may appear dark in the bottle, but don’t worry; they are sheer enough to provide just a subtle hint of color once applied to the skin.

      The Application

      These bronzing tints come with a pipette applicator that has a rollerball tip, allowing you to apply a controlled amount either directly onto your skin or onto the back of your hand, if you prefer (just be warned, it will leave a long-lasting stain there too!). Typically, I would be cautious about using a bronzing stain, fearing mistakes, but these allow ample blending time before they set, and their watery texture results in a very sheer tint. I appreciate this feature as it offers a sun-kissed wash of color, or you can layer applications for increased depth.

      My method is to apply a couple of drops to one cheek at a time, then blend with a fluffy makeup brush, using any excess on my forehead, nose, and chin. The watery texture glides on flawlessly over foundation or bare skin, and the lightweight consistency ensures a natural appearance, drying to a watercolour stain with a dewy finish. It gives a glow reminiscent of a well-rested look, akin to a two-week sun holiday. I'm genuinely impressed with how natural these tints look, providing an authentic sun-kissed glow wherever applied.

      My Verdict

      I’ll say it: this might be one of my favorite beauty launches of the year. I love the fresh, dewy look these bronzing tints bring to my skin. Although the pipette applicator may seem intimidating, the formula is sheer and blends effortlessly, making it nearly foolproof. Once they set, they wear exceptionally well throughout the day, and due to their lightweight formula, they avoid the heavy or cakey look that some bronzers can create. You’re left with a realistic hint of sun-soaked color. The shade range for the bronzers is limited to just two colors for now, so I hope to see additional options in the near future.
