Directly From Switzerland: The 16 New Timepieces That Fashion Enthusiasts Are Talking About

Watches and Wonders truly embodied the second half of its name this year. The annual exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland, gathers the most prominent figures in the watch industry to showcase their fantastic, imaginative, and exceptional creations. Last year, I attended the event in person and had the opportunity to try on new timepieces from Chopard, Cartier, TAG Heuer, Piaget, and others. Few individuals can say they wore something before it appeared on the Met Gala red carpet, but that was indeed the case with a new Cartier Panthère model I tried on at Watches and Wonders in 2025, which debuted on Jon Batiste a month later. Although I wasn’t able to visit Switzerland this year, I thoroughly examined every press release from A(udemars Piguet) to Z(enith) to identify my personal favorites for this article. Which watch will Chopard ambassador Bella Hadid be seen wearing first? Only time will reveal that. Scroll down to discover my top new watches from this year's event.

      Chopard

(Image credit: Chopard) This stunning piece from Chopard's Precious Lace collection is fully adorned with sapphires and diamonds, crafted using faceted sapphire glass and over 1,000 precious stones.

(Image credit: Chopard) Among Chopard's four new L’Heure du Diamant watches revealed at Watches and Wonders this year, I particularly favor the version with an onyx dial, an 18k ethical white gold bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, and a black leather strap.

      Cartier

(Image credit: Cartier) The Roadster, originally introduced in 2002, is making a grand comeback at Cartier. Inspired by the ergonomics of automotive design, the updated version is available in two sizes (medium and large) and three materials (steel, yellow gold, and a combination that is depicted above).

(Image credit: Cartier) The new Myst de Cartier watch design “draws inspiration from the jewelry watches crafted under Jeanne Toussaint’s direction in the early 1930s—pieces characterized by their sculptural and extravagant features,” explains Pierre Rainero, Cartier Director of Image, Style, and Heritage.

      Bulgari

(Image credit: Bulgari) At Watches and Wonders in 2025, Bulgari impressed attendees with its latest Serpenti Aeterna watch. In 2026, the brand elevated the silhouette further with a vibrant combination of diamonds, amethyst, topaz, emerald, citrine, pink sapphire, tanzanite, pink tourmaline, aquamarine, blue sapphire, peridot, and more.

(Image credit: Bulgari) Bulgari has also unveiled a limited-edition Serpenti Tubogas Studs Capsule featuring four varieties of studded watches with dials crafted from mother of pearl, carnelian, sodalite, and malachite. “Pyramidal facets accentuate the curves, transforming the bracelet into a sculptural jewel,” the brand notes.

      Piaget

(Image credit: Piaget) Launched in 2025, the Piaget Sixtie is now available for the first time with a blue quartz dial, an 18K rose gold case, and a navy blue leather strap.

(Image credit: Piaget) Piaget also presented a striking high jewelry cuff watch in 18K rose gold set with verdite and chrysoprase, complemented by a gold bracelet during this year's Watches and Wonders.

      Van Cleef & Arpels

(Image credit: Van Cleef & Arpels) Drawing inspiration from a design dating back to 1949, the new Ludo Secret watch features 185 sapphires, an 18k yellow gold bracelet, and a guilloché white mother-of-pearl dial.

(Image credit: Van Cleef & Arpels) The standout feature of the new 23mm Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée watch is its guilloché blue aventurine glass dial, crafted to capture “the limitless expanses of the cosmos.”

      TAG Heuer

(Image credit: TAG Heuer) The TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph, shown above, replaces conventional levers and springs with flexible components, “an innovative approach that provides a chronograph experience that is both highly accurate and remarkably consistent over time,” according to the brand.

(Image credit: TAG Heuer) This refreshed TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph, inspired by a model from 1969, "showcases sharper lines, fluid proportions, and enhanced ergonomics for optimal wrist comfort."

      Chanel

(Image credit: Chanel) Chanel's iconic camellia is re-imagined with snow-set diamonds and black lacquer accents. The leather strap features a unique texture that mimics a bow made from grosgrain ribbon.

(Image credit: Chanel) Chanel's inaugural watch design, the Première, launched in 1987, is being upgraded for 2026 with a total of 271 brilliant-cut diamonds and an 18k white
