I Never Wear High Heels—7 Pairs of Shoes I Choose That Are 2 Inches or Shorter

      This may come as a surprise to some of my fellow editors, but I do not own a pair of high heels at the moment. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a strong dislike for shoes that cause foot pain, especially while living in New York, where walking is a major part of everyday life. Ironically, I also don’t wear sneakers outside of the gym. Because of this, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to discovering shoes that are stylish and polished yet comfortable. Along the way, I developed an unspoken "rule" that I adhere to without thinking: I always check to ensure the heel height is two inches or lower. My usual choices include ballet flats and kitten heels, where I feel most authentic, but I also wear Mary Janes, knee-high boots, low-heel pumps, loafers, and occasionally flip-flops during hot weather.       **Ballet Flats**

      For flats, I adore my pairs from Camper and Margaux. Many people I know have been raving about E.
