I don’t want to exaggerate, but I believe this may be one of the most luxurious-smelling fragrances I’ve experienced this season, and not in the way you might expect.

      When people refer to expensive-smelling fragrances, they often mean bold, intense scents that linger long after the wearer has departed. Truthfully, that style isn’t what I prefer. I lean towards soft, fresh, skin-like aromas that envelop the senses and evoke whispers of luxury. Some might call these “quiet luxury” fragrances, and this latest offering from Chloé is a prime example. Part of the brand's Atelier des Fleurs collection, Plage du Figuier is one of the newest additions and is an olfactory delight for the upcoming season.

      Inspired by Saint-Tropez, this warm, sunny fragrance has prominent notes of fig, which add a creamy yet fresh dimension. It’s this blend of sun-kissed aromas and green, earthy undertones that makes this perfume reminiscent of a Mediterranean getaway. With each spritz, I envision terracotta tiles and olive trees. It’s not a bold resort-like scent, but rather the essence of a hidden villa adorned with exquisite art and antiques. This fig fragrance is truly unique. While hints of eucalyptus, fir balsam, and moss enhance the earthy characteristics, notes of orange blossom introduce a fresh, almost honey-like sweetness that caresses the skin like silk.

      Encased in a green fluted bottle with a cream cap and gold accents, the packaging complements the fragrance, radiating a luxurious feel that would suit a setting like Le Club 55 (if you're familiar with it). This perfume feels more appropriate for special occasions; however, its enchanting aroma is so versatile that I can already tell I’ll be using it daily.
