I'm Traveling from NYC to L.A.—Here’s What I'm Bringing for the Month.

      I just created a spreadsheet to help me pack for a month in L.A. this May. Because of this habit, I've previously asked friends if I'm a type B among type As or a type A among type Bs, and they always agree I'm a type B of the type As. It's not that I'm exceptionally organized; rather, if I don't make lists, I feel scattered, especially when living out of a suitcase. When I think of L.A. style, I envision relaxed yet polished outfits. I've noticed that a lot of my packing includes items from L.A.-based brands such as Campbell&Kramer, Charlie Beads, Clare V., Geel, Kye Intimates, Nia, and RueSophie. My go-to outfits are rather straightforward: a tank top and knee-length skirt, a simple dress, or capris paired with a trench and ballet flats or kitten-heel sandals. Naturally, I'm bringing several skirts and dresses along with numerous basics for mixing and matching. Some items I’m packing are no longer available, such as my favorite Chimi Giada Sunglasses, Stuart Weitzman kitten-heel sandals, a few beloved swimsuits, and some vintage pieces. I'm aiming for everything to fit in a carry-on, so we’ll see how that turns out. I plan to order vacuum-seal storage bags to help save space.
