This was particularly evident at the recent 51st Chaplin Award Gala in NYC. For the event, Amal donned a stunning magenta minidress with a luxurious shine from Balenciaga's S/S 26 collection. The dress showcased a voluminous, draped bodice that created a blouson effect, paired with a mini-length skirt. Additionally, it featured a sash-like detail that extended from the skirt. To complete her outfit, she chose dangling earrings, a gold clutch, and gold heels.

      While black or matching magenta heels, similar to how Balenciaga styled the dress during the runway show, would have been a good option, Amal's selection of gold pumps felt deliberate. They elevated the colorful dress without overshadowing it, adding a unique depth and dimension that black shoes cannot achieve.
