There are book launch parties, and then there are Valentino book launch parties. If you thought the latter would be considerably more fashionable, you'd be right. Last night in Los Angeles, the renowned Italian brand attracted an exceptionally stylish crowd to celebrate the release of a special book titled Specula Mundi. Featuring hundreds of images by Mark Borthwick, this photography book highlights Alessandro Michele's spring/summer 2026 couture collection of the same name. "Designed as a limited-edition collector's item, the book encapsulates Michele’s couture vision through a series of intimate, artistic images, providing a fresh perspective on the show," Valentino noted in a press release. Starting May 11, the book will be available solely in select Valentino boutiques worldwide, with only 1,500 copies to be printed, meaning acquiring one may require some effort. However, these fashionable celebrity outfit snapshots from the event will only take a few moments of your time.
