      I'm a beauty editor who has been on a nail health journey for the past year, seeking long and healthy nails. To achieve this, I’ve been trying out the best nail strengtheners and cuticle oils available. However, there are two challenges with this approach. Firstly, these nail health products are most effective on bare nails, which means I have to skip using nail polish. Secondly, many of the nail strengtheners I've tried tend to be clear, which can be a bit dull and add an extra step if I want to apply polish afterward. Ideally, I’m looking for an all-in-one solution.

      I already adore many of the Manucurist nail colors and the Manucurist Green Flash LED Kit, which serves as a fantastic gel nail alternative. However, I had yet to try the Active Glow nail polishes, which have been trending on my social media feeds lately. These polishes blend nourishing ingredients with a lovely tint that gives a fresh and healthy appearance to my nails, all while promoting their health. The Active Glow polishes (part of Manucurist’s Active range that also includes Active Smooth, Active Bright, and Active Blur) come in four sheer, nail-brightening shades: Blueberry, Grape, Raspberry, and Cranberry, each sounding as delightful as the last. I managed to get my hands on them and swatched each shade to see how they performed on my nails.

      Key ingredients include Blueberry, sweet almond oil, alpha-hydroxy acids, and lactobacillus ferment.

      Manucurist Active Glow Blueberry

      Blueberry features a deep pink tint that immediately caught my eye. This translucent shade instantly brightens nails with just one coat, though you can achieve a bolder look with two or three coats for a glossy effect if you desire more color. I’m particularly impressed with how glossy and plump my nails appear and feel when wearing this polish. Even with just one coat, it acts as a great protective layer and made my nails feel stronger within a couple of days.

      2. **Grape**

      Manucurist Active Glow Grape

      Grape is a more purple-toned, juicy tint—perfect if you’re looking for something bold yet still sheer. I’ve tried many nail tints, but this particular purple is quite unique. Manucurist suggests layering different shades, and this one serves as an excellent base for mixing with other colors.

      3. **Raspberry**

      Manucurist Active Glow Raspberry

      Raspberry displays a peachy-pink hue, and after testing all the shades, this became my absolute favorite. One coat brightens the nails nicely (it’s likely the most subtle shade in the collection), while two or three coats enhance the color into a jelly-like pink that I anticipate wearing all summer. It’s like fruit-infused nails in a bottle.

      4. **Cranberry**

      Manucurist Active Glow Cranberry

      Cranberry is the juiciest shade in the lineup, featuring a lovely coral undertone. I noticed this shade provided the most color on the first coat and offered a beautiful tint without needing multiple layers. I believe this would also be an excellent choice for a pedicure as summer approaches.

      ### Final Thoughts

      I'm thoroughly impressed with these nail tints. They enhance the plumpness and glossiness of my nails, lasting between five and seven days. Since they’re sheer, any chips become hardly noticeable. Each shade is beautiful, but I must say that Raspberry stands out as my favorite, giving a sheer pink flush to my nails. Regardless of the shade, one coat provides a brightening tint, while two or three coats yield a more intense color if desired. They are a fantastic low-maintenance nail color option that strengthens my nails while adding a glossy shine. I’m excited to experiment with layering the different shades and discover a new favorite combination.
