      Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway, and Julia Fox have quickly become fans of GapStudio since its launch by designer Zac Posen last April. On Monday night, Kendall Jenner joined this list, choosing the popular retailer for two outfits at the 2026 Met Gala. After debuting a gown inspired by Gap’s classic T-shirt on the red carpet, the founder of 818 Tequila, styled by Danielle Goldberg, changed into a second look from the affordable brand for the after-party.

      Echoing her earlier outfit, Jenner’s after-party look embraced the “Fashion Is Art” theme—inviting attendees to view clothing as an art form with the body serving as the canvas—featuring a sculpted bodice with faux nipples. Collaborating with the New York-based brand Seks, the blush-toned leather piece clung to her figure like a second skin. A bias-cut satin-faced chiffon skirt flowed into a sleek column, finished with a raw, unfinished hem. In some photos, the model wore a sheer, translucent headscarf that flowed over her face; in others, it was draped backward around her neck. Jenner completed the custom ensemble with glossy pointed-toe sandals and a white drawstring bag.

      “The after-party look was always envisioned as the softer, more intimate side of the same concept, but still purposeful,” Zac Posen, EVP and Creative Director of Gap Inc., stated in a press release. “Kendall possesses a remarkable ability to convey both power and vulnerability simultaneously, and the blush bodice was crafted specifically for her, shaped to fit her body.”

      Regarding her red carpet appearance, Jenner’s custom GapStudio dress was inspired by the Winged Victory of Samothrace, transforming the retailer’s signature white tee into a liquid jersey anchored by a custom-molded leather bodice. Sisters Kim and Kylie similarly chose striking breastplates.
