I've been watching for 8 weeks—here are the beauty products that trendy girls are currently using in secret.
I have a slight obsession with playing detective. Perhaps it's the true crime podcasts I tune into while preparing dinner or the uncanny investigative skills women seem to possess, but I excel at identifying the beauty products that celebrities use discreetly. Whether it’s the unmarked bottle in a dressing room selfie or the hidden perfume without a label in a bathroom shot, I frequently rely on my extensive beauty knowledge to recognize the cleverly concealed items (with labels facing away and bottles partially cropped) based solely on the packaging. (Because, let’s be honest, it’s often the products celebs don’t promote with brand deals that they use the most.) Celebrities and social media darlings are adept at camouflaging, understanding that an accidental glimpse of a product they use but don’t endorse can lead to trouble. Some stars, however, either don’t mind or are just genuine and post the occasional non-sponsored product pic that reminds us they’re just like us. For instance, the exact shade of Barbie-pink blush that Olandria Carthen recently used, discovered only on her makeup artist's page, or the Sol de Janeiro body cream found in the shared sprinter van of Tyla and Zara Larsson during Coachella weekend.
But that’s not where it ends. Keep on reading for the results of my detective work.

Sol de Janeiro
Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream
Singers Tyla and Larsson not only made headlines for their eventful Coachella weekend filled with surprise appearances (PinkPantheress brought Larsson out during her weekend two set, where she revealed a fresh version of "Midnight Sun") but also for their well-documented girls trip showcasing a real friendship, which included moments like this shot of Tyla. Once I shifted my gaze from the singer's sparkly lower back "tattoo," I quickly noticed Sol de Janeiro's beautifully fragrant Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream behind her. Because let’s face it—the desert is dry!
All eyes were on actress Dree Hemingway, the great-granddaughter of Ernest, as FX's American Love Story began airing, but my focus was on the stylish fashionista's Instagram. She donned a pair of Dior's cooling under-eye patches while prepping for an event to hydrate and revitalize her under-eyes. Nowadays, many celebrities display eye patches as accessories, but none appear as chic as this designer set.
Vaseline
Cocoa Butter Petroleum Jelly
Larsson is known for various reasons: her viral bedazzled glam, an ultraviolet tour wardrobe matching her beach siren aesthetic, and her frankness online. An Instagram post from two weeks ago provided a glimpse into her bustling tour life, from shots of her napping to hanging out with friends at hotels, but what caught my attention was a picture of Vaseline's Cocoa Butter Petroleum Jelly (after noticing the clementine and burning incense stick, of course). Although it's a drugstore item, this photo shows that basics are effective for everyone—even touring celebrities.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Magic Touch Blush Trio in Pink
If you’ve ever been curious about the pink blush that Carthen uses to achieve her signature bubblegum-pink cheeks… same! That was, until I stumbled upon her makeup artist, Kimora Milan’s, post from a recent Barbie event at Coachella, where she revealed through an Instagram caption that the bright pink look was thanks to Anastasia Beverly Hills' Magic Touch Blush Trio in Pink. These cream blushes are incredibly easy to blend and build for adjustable coverage, making a vivid look like Carthen's simple to achieve.
Hemingway is showcasing her skills in beauty with an Instagram reel highlighting her minimal yet elegant Paris Fashion Week glam routine—entirely created using Saie beauty products. Her initial step was to apply the popular Glowy Super Gel over fresh skin, which not only hydrates but also imparts a glitter-free glow to the complexion. You can apply it all over your skin like Hemingway, or spot-treat for targeted radiance.
Laneige
Lip Glowy Balm in Berry
In a now-deleted post by Jenner, the model shared a picture of her open handbag featuring the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in Berry turned label-side down. Still, I couldn't miss this bright-pink packaging. Laneige is adored by countless editors and celebrities, with this glossy lip balm winning for its travel-friendly design, deeply hydrating formula, and shiny finish. It’s no wonder the star keeps a rosy tube close at hand.
YSL Beauty
Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick
Sure, I know Dua Lipa is a YSL Beauty ambassador. But seriously, doesn’t this rosy monochrome lip and cheek look on the "Levitating" singer make you want to replicate it? Just a few applications of this slick, nourishing stick provide a wash of buildable color and noticeable moisture. Complete the look
