The Russian "Island of Dreams" will enter the top 5 largest amusement parks in the world.

The founder of "Dream Island," Amiran Mucoev, announced the opening date of the outdoor sector.

One of the largest amusement parks in Europe, "Dream Island," will become even bigger. The technical opening of the new locations in the outdoor section is scheduled for July 11, 2026, while the official opening will take place on Moscow City Day.

On the territory of "Dream Island," the highest and most extreme attractions that couldn't fit under the roof are installed outdoors. The location will combine over 20 attractions and five new themed worlds.

After the launch of the new space, "Dream Island" will enter the top 5 amusement parks in the world in terms of the number of mechanical attractions—there will be more than 60 in total, and the overall number of themed universes will grow to fifteen.

A single ticket will cover both the indoor and outdoor sections. There are no plans to raise prices for visiting the combined amusement park "Dream Island" in the current summer season.

In the first months, the outdoor sector will operate in a phased launch format: the project team will focus on adapting visitor flows and improving the guest experience.

"For 'Dream Island,' the launch of themed zones outdoors is a strategically important stage in the project's development and the largest expansion in its history. Since the opening, we have been systematically increasing the number of attractions and entertainment options. The outdoor section is a logical continuation. You can't imagine how many messages we received asking to open outdoors, and of course, we were preparing for this. But we couldn't just place attractions. Just like in the indoor park, we wanted to create unique universes with full immersion into new worlds: the Valley of Explorers, the Territory of Speed, the Village of Dreamers—our mascots, the City of Dreamers, the Fisherman's Bay. And, of course, we prepared flagship attractions, many of which have no analogs," says the founder of "Dream Island," Amiran Mucoev.

The flagship of the outdoor amusement park will be the roller coaster "Legend of the Peaks." It is equipped with a linear synchronous motor (LSM) system—the most modern, precise, smooth, and fast launch system in the world of attractions. The route length will exceed one kilometer, the maximum ride speed will be 110 km/h, and the highest point will reach the height of a 17-story building. According to the analytical service of "Dream Island," this is the longest and fastest coaster of this configuration in Russia and one of the largest in Europe.

Among the key features of the outdoor space are a 68-meter free-fall tower, a giant pendulum attraction at the level of a 10-story building with 360-degree rotation, a monorail coaster over 600 meters long with speeds up to 70 km/h, a water attraction 12 meters high simulating a route through turbulent waters, and other features.

"A few years ago, similar projects in Russia seemed impossible, but we did it. After the launch of the outdoor sector, 'Dream Island' will enter the top 5 amusement parks in the world, and of course, this is a significant event for the city and the country. We will start welcoming guests on July 11, and throughout the period leading up to the official opening on Moscow City Day, we will operate in a technical format to fine-tune customer service and manage guest flows," adds Amiran Mucoev.

Just like in the indoor part of the amusement park, only new generation attractions that meet Russian and international safety standards will be used in the themed zones outdoors. All of them are created by world leaders in attraction manufacturing. In the outdoor section, the attractions were developed considering the climatic conditions of the region.

Currently, commissioning work is being carried out in the outdoor part of the amusement park. After its completion, the attractions will undergo certification by accredited bodies and a testing laboratory, followed by state registration of the attractions with the State Technical Supervision of the Administrative and Technical Inspections (OATI) of Moscow. The final step will be obtaining a registration certificate and state registration mark for the attractions.

According to the established tradition in the amusement park, the first to ride the new attractions will be the founder of "Dream Island," Amiran Mucoev, the technical operation management, and other staff members.
