A closed premiere of the film "Where Are You?" with Nikita Volkov, Valeri Zoidova, and Karina Cross will take place in Moscow.

On June 18, 2026, a closed premiere of the feature film by Veronika Korzhevskaya — the melodrama "Where Are You?" — will take place in Moscow. The film, which has already received recognition from the professional community and has been presented at several Russian festivals, will be released in wide distribution on June 25 in the "Cinema Park" theater chain. The trailer was presented on the "VK Video" platform.

Among the invited guests at the closed premiere are representatives of the creative industries: Klim Shipenko and Sofia Karpunina, Svetlana Bondarchuk, Polina Gagarina, Vladimir Khotinenko, Nadezhda Mikhalkova, Artyom Mikhalkov, Anna Mikhalkova, Agata Muceniece and Pyotr Dranga, Evelina Khromchenko, Irina Gorbachyova, Karina Cross, Anna Bogomolova, Nikita Volkov, Olesya Zheleznyak, and others.

The plot centers around a family whose usual way of life collapses overnight after the disappearance of their three-month-old child. Six years later, Anna tries to return to her former life, while her husband — anesthesiologist Maxim — does not lose hope of finding their son. Their paths diverge, but the question "Where are you?" remains a connecting thread — an appeal to both the characters and each viewer.

The director of "Where Are You?" Veronika Korzhevskaya spoke about the film's journey to the audience: "With a large team, we worked for over five years to release this film in wide distribution. Today it reaches the audience thanks to our work and the partners who believed in us. I thank each one and invite viewers to the cinemas. I hope you watch the film 'Where Are You?' with an open heart. We made this film with the dream that our children live in a better world than we do. Let it be so!"

"Where Are You?" is Veronika Korzhevskaya's first feature-length work. Previously, the director released the short film "On the Other Side of the Vineyard" featuring Nadezhda Mikhalkova and the documentary "The Path," dedicated to a journey along the Trans-Siberian Railway. In this new project, she was supported by creative producer Alexey Nuzhny, known for the films "I Am Losing Weight," "Tolia the Robot," and "The Bremen Musicians." The script was written by Sergey Novikov, who worked on the series "Vineyard," and Natalia Milyavskaya, who participated in the creation of the films "Zhdun" and "Pirates of the Galaxy Barracuda." The musical arrangement was created by composer Svetlana Retunskaya.

The cast includes well-known Russian actors. Nikita Volkov, who gained wide recognition for his role in the series "Knock on My Door in Moscow" — the Russian adaptation of the popular Turkish series, embodies the character of Maxim — a man who does not give up despite years of searching.

Actor Nikita Volkov on working on the project: "This role required complete immersion — I needed to find a credible inner state of a person in a situation that is unimaginable. The climactic scene was a real test for me — after a successful take, I couldn't hold back my tears. This experience changed something in me: I began to look at the time spent with children differently, especially to cherish it."

Anna Bogomolova, familiar to viewers from the film "Master and Margarita," and the series "Blonds," "Strings," "Lada Gold," and "Combination," plays the role of Anna, the main character's wife. One of the central characters is played by the well-known host, actress, and video blogger Karina Cross, who gained fame for her socially significant content on social media and roles in the films "Trended" and "Lovers."

Host, actress, and video blogger Karina Cross on working in film: "This film raises important topics, but does so very delicately and humanely. Through the fates of the characters, it reminds us that even in the most difficult circumstances, it is important to maintain hope and believe in oneself. My character is a bright and kind person who, despite difficulties, does not lose faith in the future. And, it seems to me, this is the main message of the film: it is important to hear oneself, to remain true to one's values, and not to be afraid to seek one's own path to happiness."

The film also features: Valeri Zoidova, remembered by the public for the series "King and Jester" and "Passions for Matvey," award-winning Yuri Chursin, and honored artist of the Russian Federation Olesya Zheleznyak. The final composition "To My Son," set to music by Mikael Tariverdiev and lyrics by Robert Rozhdestvensky, was performed by singer Akmal.

The film has already been recognized by festivals and the professional community in various parts of the country: the project received the award for "Best Debut Feature" at the "Amur Autumn" review in Blagoveshchensk, became the closing film of "Kinomayevka" in Crimea, and was included in the main competition of the young cinema festival "New Movement" in Veliky Novgorod. Filming took place in Crimea — in the Greater Yalta area, Ai-Petri, Gurzuf, and the "Mriya" resort. The peninsula became not only a location but also an independent artistic image, enhancing the emotional fabric of the narrative.

The film was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Yuri and Marina Shamara Foundation for the Development of Social Initiatives, JSC "AvtoVAZ," the "Mriya" resort, and the search and rescue team "LisaAlert." Production was handled by LLC "Pik Media," and distribution by "Cinema Park." Information partners included: radio station "Hit FM," portal "Kinoafisha.Info," industry resource "Movistart," magazine OK!, publications The Voice Mag, "7Days," "Typical Moscow," "Daily Moscow." The communication partner of the film is the agency of comprehensive communication solutions Prophet.
