Yea: Neons + Minidresses
"I'm really into neons right now. They’re always a fun choice for summer and make me look even tanner! I also live in thin minidresses during the hot NYC summers. Cou Cou Intimates has some of my favorites!"
Nay: Jorts + Logos
"I'm not really feeling the jorts trend anymore or anything with large logos, but I suppose that's just my year-round taste."

Yea: Excessive Layering + Optical Glasses
"I’ve been really into excessive layering lately. I just got this dress from Verconiik, an NYC brand, and I love that it looks like multiple pieces in one. Having spent a lot of time in Copenhagen, I've picked up some great style inspiration from the stylish Danish girls. I’m also really enjoying neon colors and a variety of glasses lately. Since I've always worn contacts, it feels great that glasses are trendy now."
Nay: Skinny Jeans
"I'm not on board with skinny jeans (sorry, still not a fan!) or minimalism like in Love Story. I know that might be controversial. I love a '90s aesthetic, but I think maximalism is more exciting, and I’d rather see people dress playfully than tone down their style—unless minimalism suits them. Everyone has their own preference!"

Yea: Aqua/Teal
"The 2010s are coming back, and I'm all for it. I've always enjoyed wearing blue, but aqua/teal specifically gives off the whimsical, nostalgic energy we need this summer. It’s been a tough year. Plus, since this color trend is resurfacing, it's easy to find secondhand pieces instead of buying new."
Nay: Capris
"I like the look of capris, but I wish mini shorts were more in style instead. I personally get too hot and end up hiking up my capris for some airflow. Also, my legs are pale right now, so I want every chance I can get to tan whenever I'm outside. So this summer, you'll see me in Daisy Dukes, singing 'California Gurls'."

Yea: Carpenter Belts
"This is a trend I’ve only noticed within chic, niche Instagram styling. Whether over a skirt or baggy cargo pants, this toolbelt-like waist cincher is both practical and stylish. It indicates to other fashion-forward individuals that you know what you're doing, and it provides a trendy spot to hold your phone and lip liner. Who doesn’t love a pocket? You could buy an authentic one from a hardware store, but Zara and Free People have plenty of stylish options too."
Nay: Disc Belts
"While conversing about trends with another fashion editor, we both expressed our dislike for a certain Y2K-inspired accessory: the disc belt. You might have seen it at festivals like Coachella or Lollapalooza, often paired with micro shorts and Western boots. Recently, it seems to have lost its appeal—at least in my opinion."
