Forget everything I've mentioned before; this new Rhode product is the top item in my makeup bag.
If there's anyone who loves to tease the launch of a new beauty product, it's Hailey Bieber. It seems she has been hinting at a Rhode bronzer for some time, and now the Rhode Pocket Bronze (£25) has finally arrived. Were they worth the anticipation? Absolutely. I managed to get my hands on the bronzers, along with some of the most-awaited launches from the Rhode Summer Collection, including Highlight Milk, limited-edition Peptide Lip Tints, and new shades of Peptide Lip Shapes. Ms. Bieber has truly treated us this summer. Read on for what you need to know and why the Pocket Bronze absolutely deserves a spot in your makeup bag.

**Pros**

- Provides a healthy, sun-kissed glow

**The Formula and Shades**
Following the success of the sought-after Pocket Blush (£25), Pocket Bronze features the same buttery formula but in a cream bronzer form. It comes in eight shades that cater to a variety of skin tones from fair to deep, and the range is thoughtfully designed to address different undertones as well. The formula includes Rhode's signature peptides and tamanu oil, which provide a creamy texture that allows it to easily melt into the skin with a satiny finish. These bronzers are simple to apply with your fingers or to blend out using a brush. Either way, they mix well with your complexion for a naturally sun-kissed appearance. As implied by its name, the compact bronzer is perfectly sized to fit in your makeup bag, making it ideal for touch-ups as well.
**My Thoughts**
My initial impression of the Pocket Bronze is how user-friendly they are. I've always been wary of bronzers that can be too heavy or patchy, but this lightweight formula has a silky and buttery texture that blends effortlessly into the skin, whether applied directly onto bare skin or over a skin tint. They also pair nicely with the new Highlight Milk (£28), a milky highlighting fluid that I prefer to mix into my base before applying bronzer on days when I seek more radiance.
The finish of these bronzers is sheer and satiny; it’s not overly dewy to the point of fading by midday but remains straightforward to blend, providing a subtle glow to your complexion without any glitter or sparkle (all shades are matte, by the way). After trying countless bronzers, I can confidently say that this is one of the best I’ve experienced, especially after just over a week of testing it—and I’m quite particular about bronzers.
I tested three shades: Sip (for light to light-medium skin tones), Sunbed (light to light-medium complexions), and Bake (for light-medium to medium tones). My skin is light; however, it has been quite sun-deprived this summer, so I often reached for either Sip or Sunbed, both of which provided the healthy glow I desired. I used a fluffy makeup brush to work the bronzer onto my cheeks, forehead, nose, and a bit on my eyelids, which instantly warmed my skin with minimal effort. They also wear very well throughout the day; despite carrying one in my bag, I felt no need for touch-ups due to their long-lasting nature.
In case it wasn’t clear, I’m already a huge fan of the Rhode Pocket Bronze. So, if you're in search of a new bronzer this summer, you really can't go wrong with this one. Thank you, Hailey. The Pocket Bronze was certainly worth the wait.

**How We Tested**
I’ve been testing the new Rhode Pocket Bronzers and various items from the Rhode Summer Collection over the past week. I evaluated three bronzer shades, used them independently and over makeup, to assess the formula, usability, and shade diversity.
