      Every relationship has its unique beginning. Some couples connect in bustling bars, others through friends, and many now meet via dating apps. For Jordan Goldberg, a fashion editor and consultant, and Adam Rossman, a KPMG manager, their journey started in a chemistry class at the University of Texas at Austin, amid test tubes and textbooks. "We formed a study group with a few other students and quickly became friends," says Goldberg. "We were practically 'studying' daily, which was a lot of effort for a basic science course, but we were simply having a great time." In no time, their study sessions evolved into dinner dates and concerts, although Goldberg maintains that their initial relationship was purely platonic.

      That all changed when Goldberg invited Rossman to JMBLYA, a music festival in Austin. "He kissed me right in the middle of the performance," she remembers. "I was so surprised that I actually asked him why he kissed me." Rossman, however, had seen the concert as a proper date. "Since it was just the two of us, I thought it was the right moment to make a move," he explains. "It wasn't planned at all, but it felt right at the time." Their undeniable chemistry marked a turning point for the duo, transforming their friendship forever. "There was this unspoken understanding between us; we both just knew this was it," reflects Goldberg.

      After graduation, they relocated to New York City, where their relationship deepened as they faced new careers and grown-up responsibilities. Three years down the line, they moved into a one-bedroom apartment on Astor Place, leading to conversations about marriage. They initially envisioned an engagement in 2025, but Rossman had other intentions.

      One snowy weekend in November 2024, they took a trip to the Sagamore Resort in Lake George. "We drove up on a Friday morning in his parents' car, and Adam was so calm during the ride," Goldberg recalls. "He even connected his phone to CarPlay, which, looking back, seems quite risky [since his texts could appear on the screen]!" After settling into their hotel room, they strolled to a lookout spot where Rossman proposed. "I was completely shocked," Goldberg says. "Luckily, he hired a photographer so we could relive the moment because I couldn't remember if he got down on one knee." The celebration continued in NYC with family and friends.

      When it came time to plan their wedding, choosing the location was easy: Texas, where their love story unfolded. The Arlo Hotel's sleek, modern design provided Goldberg with the ideal blank canvas for her creative vision, while the stunning courtyard tree finalized their decision. "The moment we saw it, I knew we would get married under it," she shares.       Jordan Goldberg: "We hosted our welcome dinner at Stubb's BBQ, a famous concert venue in Austin. The dress code was 'Western chic,' which encouraged our guests to embrace the Texas vibe. They certainly did! They showed up in bolo ties, cowboy hats, lots of fringe, and denim on denim. We loved it! Guests arrived around 6:30 p.m. to find buckets of beer, wildflowers adorning every table, and a country band performing classic songs (George Strait, Luke Bryan, and more!)."

      JG: "I donned a fringe dress from Bevza's resort 2026 collection. The moment I spotted it on Moda Operandi, I knew it was perfect for our Western-themed Friday night. I wanted something that felt like a modern twist on country attire. The stunning corsetry and woven detailing gave the gown a contemporary flair, while the fringe added a Western element. I styled my hair up in a French twist, secured with my mom's wedding barrette. I paired it with Schutz heels, Dorsey earrings, and an aquamarine cocktail ring belonging to Adam’s late grandmother."

      JG: "Adam sported boots and a white button-down shirt from Tecovas, paired with light blue Rag & Bone jeans, and a custom cowboy hat."

      JG: "After everyone was seated for dinner, we had four speeches: my best friend Molly; three of Adam’s childhood friends; Adam’s best man and older brother, Evan; and finally Adam's sister Natalie. The speeches were absolutely fantastic. They all spoke about the journey of our relationship over the last nine years and how much we've grown together."
