      August can be a challenging month for clothing shopping, as I find myself torn between two very different needs. On one side, I must dress for the sweltering heat, which is expected to rise even more in Los Angeles over the coming eight weeks. However, the flood of back-to-school advertisements indicates that fall is rapidly approaching, and retailers are already preparing their collections of sweaters. What’s a girl to do? I’ve decided to embrace both options, thank you very much. Currently, I’m looking for summer pieces that will help me enjoy the last days of the season, as well as fall-ready items to preview my closet.
