I’ve always been a fan of neutral nail trends, but occasionally, I like to switch my milky manicure for a chrome finish (I know, wild). However, even a chrome manicure can sometimes feel a bit too flashy for my minimalist taste. When I came across "aqua glazed" nails on my Instagram feed, I was instantly sold. They are not entirely chrome and not completely glitter; aqua-glazed nails offer a subtle, shimmery twist on the milky nail trend, enhancing your manicure while maintaining a soft and chic appearance. Aqua Glazed Nails
Nail artist Mateja Novakovic crafted this iridescent manicure featuring a beautifully elegant, creamy white base. Combined with a pearly finish, it’s arguably the perfect summery version of one of my favorite neutral nail styles. While I will definitely request this on my next salon visit, the good news is that the aqua-glazed nail trend is incredibly easy to recreate at home. In fact, Novakovic used the Manucurist Active Plump Aqua Glazed polish to achieve this look, applying two layers for a more opaque effect.
Not only does this polish look stylish, but it also benefits your nails. The formula is enriched with collagen for a plump, hydrated appearance. Additionally, the pearly finish draws inspiration from reflections seen in marine environments (hence the name "aqua"). I intend to use this product throughout August, and I think it could also make a fantastic shade for pedicures.
