Yet, anyone in the UK understands how unpredictable the weather can be, and that temperatures can plummet in an instant. With this in mind, I’ve decided that now is a fitting time to start considering the autumn outfits I’ll be sporting into 2027. Unlike the high summer period, which relegated me to the simplest tank tops and linen trousers for comfort, autumn allows for a bit more creativity in my wardrobe, focusing on layering, varying fabrics, and richer colours. With just a quick scroll through Instagram, I’ve managed to hone in on seven outfits that strike a perfect balance between elegance and effortless style.

      As a minimalist, I'm not particularly drawn to micro trends or fads, so the outfits I've compiled below are both timeless and feel fresh for 2026 (and 2027).
