      If you've been to a ski town lately, you're probably aware of and maybe even a fan of Halfdays. I can easily spot the brand's vibrant, candy-colored ski gear on the slopes (okay, maybe from the gondola). What you might not realize is that they also produce stylish activewear. Their motto, "owning the mountain," applies all year round, which is why their performance-focused designs are made for hikes and trail runs—but they are equally perfect for hot yoga or Pilates. As someone who enjoys outdoor adventures and fashionable fitness classes, I was thrilled to test out the fall collection. Recently, I had the chance during a weekend in upstate New York hosted by Halfdays, where we indeed went hiking.       I always find space for a new pair of black leggings in my wardrobe. You can never have too many, and I firmly believe that. This pair features nearly invisible pockets, allowing you to jog without carrying a bag. I styled them with the brand's baby tee and a new lightweight puffer vest. And yes, Meredith Blake was my inspiration.

      My favorite fall color combo is chocolate brown and powder blue, so I plan to incorporate it into my activewear. I adore flared leggings, so this ribbed pair was an obvious choice, especially when matched with the fitted quarter-zip top and super soft fleece. I was delighted when I remembered I also had brown-and-blue sneakers. I can’t wait to sport this look on brisk fall mornings.

      This outfit feels very much in line with the Halfdays essence, reflecting the style of their ski sets. I’m a fan of track pants, especially those with zippers, and the ability to pair them with the matching packable puffer jacket is a fantastic perk. They work well as separates, but together, this red ensemble really makes a statement.
