I own over 50 perfumes, yet I continually find myself returning to these hair and body mists that cost $28.

As a beauty editor, I'm fortunate enough to try out hundreds of new product releases each year. I also see myself as a fragrance collector, which is why I currently have over 50 perfumes displayed on my vanity. (Yes, I counted them.) Some of these are timeless floral scents, while others boast luxurious gourmand notes like vanilla, caramel, and pistachio. There are also those that possess woody, smoky, or earthy characteristics. The bottom line is that I have a vast array of perfumes to select from, including a few that are quite expensive ($400 or $500+). Nevertheless, despite this extensive collection, I find myself repeatedly reaching for the same $28 hair and body mists. Continue reading to discover which ones they are and why they're making my other bottles gather dust.

**Ouai St. Barts Hair & Body Mist**

Did you figure out that I'm talking about Ouai's Hair and Body Mists? It’s understandable if you didn’t. After all, Ouai is primarily known as a haircare brand (founded by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin), yet they excel in fragrance as well. They offer a complete line of eau de parfums, which I have worn on and off for years, but recently, I can't get enough of their lightweight mists. The rest of the Who What Wear beauty team feels the same. Last year, alongside my fragrance-loving colleagues, I awarded Ouai's St. Barts Hair & Body Mist a prestigious Who What Wear 100 Beauty Award, a clear sign of its quality. With notes of dragon fruit, orange blossom, tuberose, and musk, it's like a beach vacation in a bottle. The warm, sunny scent captures a tropical vibe without being overly fruity or reminiscent of sunscreen. Instead, it offers an elevated, luxurious aroma that elicits compliments whenever I wear it. This sunlit fragrance has become my go-to Ouai Hair and Body Mist; I simply can't get enough of it. That's why I've also purchased other St. Barts-scented products from Ouai, including the Leave-In Conditioner ($18), Moisturizing Body Cream ($22), and Gentle Body Wash ($18). I also highly recommend the Ouai Mini St. Bart’s Body Set ($36) for travel convenience.

**Ouai Santorini Hair & Body Mist**

If St. Barts embodies the warm, sunlit scent of summer fantasies, then Santorini offers a light, bright, and clean fragrance reminiscent of "a refreshing dip in the Aegean Sea." This scent is fresh and slightly citrusy, featuring notes of peach, orange, honeysuckle, and amber. I often reach for it on A) particularly hot and humid days when I desire a cool and refreshing aroma, or B) anytime I want a "clean" scent that doesn't feel overpowering. When my sister caught a whiff of it on me, she exclaimed, "Why do you smell so good?" Upon learning it was Ouai's Santorini Hair & Body Mist, she asked me to bring her the bottle for a test, after which she promptly placed an order on her phone. If that’s not indication of its charm, I don’t know what is.

**Ouai Ibiza Hair & Body Mist**

As a beauty editor, I firmly believe every fragrance category has its time and place, and rich, sultry, date-night scents are no exception. This one, dear reader, is an exceptional "come closer" fragrance. It strikes a perfect balance of sweetness and spice with notes like rich cocoa, creamy tonka bean, smooth vanilla, and warm cinnamon. When applied, it dries down to a soft, enticing, and radiant scent—never overpowering or excessive. It's completely enchanting. I must concur with the brand's description: "[It] smells like dinners at midnight and dancing the night away."

**Ouai Melrose Place Hair & Body Mist**

Lastly, I must mention Ouai's inaugural and perhaps most iconic fragrance: Melrose Place. Inspired by its namesake street in West Hollywood, it offers sweet, sparkling notes of champagne, bergamot, rose, lychee, pink peppercorn, and white musk. It's soft, airy, and classically feminine—a romantic scent for those who adore timeless floral fragrances.

      **The Limited-Edition Mini Set**

This limited-edition Mini Set features travel-sized versions of all four scents.
