      Although I typically avoid sandals and flip-flops in the city—mainly due to the dusty sidewalks—I’ve found myself giving in to this summer's relentless heat more often than I'd like. To keep from overheating, my nearly bare feet have been closer to the pavement than I'd prefer. These flat styles offer the same chic cut-out design that I find so sophisticated, but with a more comfortable silhouette, making them ideal for enhancing everyday looks.
