I'm known to be quite particular about denim—these new jeans are the only ones I want to wear this fall.

I'm known to be quite particular about denim—these new jeans are the only ones I want to wear this fall.

It's that time again. The linen trousers are gradually being stored away, making room for something more durable. Naturally, I'm referring to jeans. As someone who openly admits to being a denim enthusiast (I have more pairs than I can physically count or comfortably fit in my closet), I like to consider myself somewhat of a denim connoisseur. Therefore, when I learned that one of my favorite brands was launching its inaugural denim collection, I was instantly intrigued. Yes, the With Nothing Underneath jeans have finally arrived—and they exceed my expectations.

Of course, Shopping Editor Florrie and I had to try them out, and we were immediately drawn to two distinct styles. Florrie chose the Crawford, a clean, straight-leg—or stovepipe, if you prefer—jean named after Cindy Crawford herself. Think of a '90s off-duty supermodel: timeless, understated, and incredibly chic, with a streamlined silhouette perfect for pairing with white shirts, cashmere knits, and loafers.

I, on the other hand, gravitated towards the Fawcett. With a wider leg and a subtle '70s vibe, they represent cool-girl denim at its finest. The fit strikes that elusive balance between relaxed and refined, exhibiting a wide silhouette that remains thoughtful rather than overpowering. To round out the collection is the Stevie, which also pays homage to an iconic dresser, offering a fresh twist on WNU's polished denim approach. Together, these three styles encompass the essential shapes I seek in jeans: a classic straight leg, a trendy wide leg, and an option for those desiring something in between.

With autumn quickly approaching, the timing couldn't be more perfect. Continue scrolling to see how Florrie fared with the Crawford and the Fawcett, plus shop With Nothing Underneath's new denim collection below.

**Florrie Alexander, Shopping Editor:** I adore a rigid, well-structured pair of jeans that maintain their form, and the Crawford does just that. They feature the ideal straight-leg, nearly stovepipe cut that feels polished without being overly fitted, while the high-rise waist has a really elongating effect—especially appreciated on my 5'2" frame. The mid-blue wash is nearly perfect as well: classic, versatile, and precisely the shade I want to wear as autumn approaches. I plan to style mine with everything from simple tees and fine-knit cardigans to oversized knits and loafers.

**Marina Avraam, Senior Shopping Editor:** Wide-leg jeans can be challenging to pull off, especially at 5'2", but the Fawcett completely won me over. Instead of dwarfing my frame, they sit beautifully high on the waist and then fall into a relaxed, sweeping leg that feels distinctly '70s without crossing into retro territory. I particularly appreciate the denim's weight—it provides enough structure to the wider silhouette to maintain a polished look, while still being comfortable for everyday wear. With the perfectly balanced mid-blue wash, I can easily envision these becoming my go-to jeans this autumn with a tucked-in shirt, fitted knit, and ballet flats.

**Shop The Stevie Jeans:** The Stevie adds a more laid-back vibe to the collection, featuring a flattering high-rise waist and an easy, wide-leg silhouette that remains polished rather than excessively slouchy. The structured denim adds just enough weight for a beautiful drape, while the classic blue wash enhances their versatility. Pair them with a crisp white shirt and loafers now, and switch to a chunky knit and boots as autumn arrives.
