      Interesting detail about Jasmine Tookes: If her modeling career hadn't panned out, the 5'9" Victoria's Secret Angel would have pursued a path as a makeup artist. "I've always had a passion for the creative aspect of makeup," shares the experienced runway model, beauty brand founder, and mother of two in an interview with Who What Wear. "In the early days of my modeling career, I was able to observe some incredibly talented makeup artists on set, and I constantly asked questions because I was intrigued by how minor techniques could completely transform a look. That's when I truly fell in love with the art of makeup. Every photoshoot and runway show felt like an opportunity to learn, and I loved witnessing how makeup could highlight features, set a mood, or tell a story." We may one day see Tookes in a makeup chair (who knows!), but it's evident that her on-set experiences significantly contributed to her skills. A look through her TikTok GRWM videos confirms this: Tookes excels at makeup techniques. She even has the notoriously tricky eye makeup down to a science, making her a perfect collaborator for Ilia's new Thru Line Waterproof Eyeliner. "Ilia has been one of my go-to brands for many years," she states. "Balancing motherhood, running a business, and dealing with sensitive skin means I'm much more intentional about what I use." "I've always enjoyed accentuating my eyes because they can completely transform an appearance, whether I'm opting for a minimalist look or something more glamorous."

      However, before she enhances her eyelids, she prioritizes achieving her other hallmark: a radiant, sun-kissed base. "I typically begin with Ilia's Super Serum Skin Tint in Dominica ST14 and Honopu ST14.5 for a natural foundation, apply a touch of bronzer for warmth, and keep the rest of my skin fresh and luminous before defining my eyes," she explains. After sculpting her complexion, she applies Ilia's Stylus Shadow Stick in Relic on her lids, then uses the Thru Line Waterproof Eyeliner in Gesture (a matte warm brown) to tightline her upper lashes, smudging it at the outer corners to create a small wing.
