Stop Debating—Kate Moss Just Confirmed That This "Outdated" Jeans Trend Is Definitely Making a Comeback.

      If there's one person capable of persuading me to try a new trend, it's Kate Moss. As a fashion icon with a long-standing presence in the industry, Moss has acquired valuable insights into what makes an outfit truly great. So, when she showcases a "dated" trend as making a comeback, I have no reason to disagree. During a full day of events at Paris Fashion Week, Moss appeared in the single denim style I had previously been reluctant to adopt—until now.

      Demonstrating that skinny jeans certainly deserve a spot in our spring/summer collections, Moss paired a form-fitting black pair of jeans with an elegance and sophistication that, frankly, no other denim style can replicate. Currently a hot topic in fashion discussions, some people are ready to welcome the slim fit back, while others still feel the effects of its prior overexposure in the 2000s and 2010s.

      As for Moss, she belongs to a third category—one of the few fashion figures who never really retired her skinny jeans in the first place. While her usage of them may have declined over the past few years, she occasionally brings out the classic style, leveraging its sleek and polished traits to enhance her outfits.

      Moss made the controversial denim trend look extraordinarily stylish by pairing her jeans with an oversized leather jacket in a shiny black finish. Underneath, she wore a lacy bodysuit and carried a studded bag, subtly incorporating two popular seasonal trends—lace and studs—without making her outfit appear overly trendy. In the past, Moss might have opted for a relaxed biker boot with this grunge-inspired look, but in 2025, she chose platform mules with a wooden sole and peep-toe design, adding height and dimension to her all-black ensemble in a chic manner.
