Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, an OB-GYN, has an inspiring story that led her to become a well-known expert in women's health. Originally from Iran, she moved to the United States as a teenager amid the Iranian revolution, focusing on mastering English to further her education. Her educational journey culminated in a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a medical degree, along with specialized training as an OB-GYN, paving the way for a career centered on empowering women through high-quality healthcare.
Once she completed her training, Aliabadi fully entered the challenging field of medicine, working in various hospitals and clinics throughout Los Angeles. Her dedication to her patients was apparent from the start, and in 2005, she made the courageous decision to start her own private practice in Beverly Hills. She quickly built a loyal client base, which includes well-known figures such as SZA and Halsey. Her reputation as a reliable physician grew, establishing her as a preferred doctor for women seeking superior care.
In recent years, Aliabadi's influence has extended beyond her practice. She began making appearances on television shows like The Doctors, where she shared her medical knowledge with a wider audience and increased awareness about women's health issues. In 2024, she launched SHE MD, a podcast that addresses critical topics such as infertility and endometriosis, furthering her mission to educate and support women. That same year, actress Olivia Munn publicly acknowledged Aliabadi for saving her life by detecting early-stage breast cancer through proactive testing. Munn's story gained widespread attention, highlighting Aliabadi's life-saving skills.
Aliabadi also introduced Ovii, a supplement specifically designed for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), reflecting her long-standing commitment to tackling women’s unique health challenges.
