30 Starting Points for Every New Trend That’s Worth Exploring

30 Starting Points for Every New Trend That’s Worth Exploring

Although my profession is in the fashion industry and I often think about trends and shopping, I also find myself overwhelmed by which trends to invest in each season. Since I can't purchase everything, I have to make thoughtful choices, no matter how challenging that may be. When I'm interested in a trend but prefer to take a cautious approach, I look for pieces that are subtle and easy to wear. Among the current spring and summer trends that have caught my attention, there are 10 in particular that I believe are worth exploring, while still aiming for a safer selection, even though some of these trends are inherently "safe." (As a side note, while not all of these trends are brand-new, they are rapidly gaining traction this season or may be new to you.) By "jumping-off items," I refer to versatile pieces that resemble the basics we typically wear, making them hard to go wrong with. For each of the 10 trends, I’ve picked three pieces that meet this criterion. Keep scrolling to shop them while they are still available.
